Dried Tiny Prawns Curry With Brinjal and Potato (Sukat vang-batata)

This is one of my favorite Kokani dish... since childhood. This dried prawns recipe is simple to make and tastes yum. This is cooked in a variety of ways with various vegetables. It goes well with bhakari and rice.

Method:
  • Wash properly & soak suka jawala in regular temperature of water for 15 minutes & then squeeze them.

Tip:

  • Here I used Suka jawala/Sukat/Tiny prawns but we can make this curry with any type of dried prawns or with fresh prawns also.
  • This tiny dried prawns goes well with many veggies like bottlegourd, brinjal, Indian broad beans (val papadi), green hyacinth beans (ghevada), spring onion, baby fenugreek leaves etc.
